An Event for Leadership Teams
INTENDED AUDIENCE
This event is for teams of three or more participants in learning leader positions
- superintendents, district staff, school administrators, principals, lead teachers
- anyone who acts as a lead learner when it comes to assessment for learning.
OVERVIEW
This annual 5-day Symposium focuses on building and strengthening assessment for learning capacity. System, school, and teacher leaders will work through their own projects with our team of highly acclaimed resource professionals. (see http://www.annedavies.com/assessment_for_learning_lr_el.html for list of resource people.) Teams will have the time, opportunity, and resources to make concrete plans for the upcoming year and future years.
Topics to be covered include: indicators of quality assessment for system learning – ways to collect and use qualitative and quantitative data to report growth toward school and system-wide goals – ways to support on-going system change through layered professional learning – ways that systems, large and small, are keeping their assessment for learning initiatives on track.
Symposium registration includes two additional Web-Conferences with Anne Davies after the Symposium to follow up, extend, and support ongoing learning.
