Comprehensive Package for System-wide Alignment
The success of a system-wide assessment for learning initiative depends on the alignment of all roles within the system, from classroom teachers to school leaders to system leadership.
This coaching package is your opportunity to support your entire assessment for learning team and members of your staff, from leaders to teachers, who need tools, strategies, and "just in time" learning to apply to their respective roles.
Think about the effect of powerful ideas applied across the system. Think about every level of your system working on assessment for learning on a regular basis. Consider the power of every level, -- from classroom teachers to senior leadership -- examining ways to transform barriers, and learning alongside colleagues in similar roles from other jurisdictions with a similar vision.
Through this multi-layered coaching program, participants will learn about assessment for learning while also discovering ways to structure, manage, and monitor their own assessment for learning initiatives. The program takes place over an entire year and takes participants forward while being thoughtfully involved in:
- reviewing baseline assessment information
- identifying needs and gaps
- setting goals
- putting supportive structures and practices in place
- answering questions along the way
- collecting evidence
- assessing progress
- evaluating results and planning for future learning
The program is designed to take participating teams through a comprehensive planning and implementation process, which will give them new resources and knowledge for success.

Monthly Group Coaching Web-Conference
- monthly group web-conference moderated by Anne Davies, with special guests. Participants are welcome to have the leadership team listen in on the calls, ask questions in the Q&A or send in questions ahead of time by e-mail.
- Web-Conference sessions are highly interactive with opportunities to learn from colleagues in other jurisdictions.
- sessions are recorded for you to review or download following the call.
- a full set of recordings will be sent to participants as a record of their participation.
