Our 11th Annual 5-day Symposium is for system, school, and teacher leader groups of 3 or more, who will bring their own projects to work through with the assistance of our group of highly acclaimed resource professionals. (If you do not have a team in place, please consider attending with members of your informal network.)

Each day your group will engage in learning, reflecting, questioning, exploring, listening, and connecting to new and prior knowledge. You will have the time, opportunity, and resources to help you make concrete plans for the upcoming year and future years.

Note: If you are relatively new to assessment for learning, we recommend you attend our 5-day Institute, July 26-30, 2010: "Making Classroom Assessment Work: An In-Depth Institute".

Our 5-day intensive course is for educators who want both theoretical grounding and practical in-classroom strategies for this transformative approach to learning. The week features instructor-led presentations and group work sessions, where you will have the opportunity to "learn by doing", build a learning plan for your classroom, and collaborate with your peers.

Each day during the Institute, an additional session is provided for professional learning leaders and facilitators who register for Track Two. This track will focus on the finer points of being an instructional leader and successfully meeting professional learning needs so you can better support the learning of others.
